Teen quickie replaces Edwards

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados: Fast bowler Fidel Edwards has been replaced with Young Barbados fast bowler Ruel Brathwaite on the senior Barbados cricket team’s two-week tour of Bermuda. The 22-year-old Edwards is scheduled to undergo a series of medical tests after complaining about back pain and allows the bespectacled Brathwaite to make his first senior team appearance. The 19-year-old Brathwaite was the leading wicket-taker in the recent TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge in Jamaica in which Young Barbados won the limited-overs competition and finished runners-up to the hosts in the three-day competition. Brathwaite collected 21 in the three-day competition and 13 in the limited-overs matches.
