Arima begin East Zone defence

THE “Dial Dynamos” Arima will oppose the “Green Machine” St Augustine from 5.30 pm, at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima, in the feature match of the East Zone of the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL). The 2004 SSFL season will kick off today with the reigning East Zone champs Arima hoping to begin their season on a winning note. Neighbours Barataria and St George’s will meet in the opening match of the doubleheader at 3.30 pm. North and South Zone action will get going tomorrow, with doubleheaders at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo and Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella respectively.
