Govia brothers torment Fatima in Colfire hockey

THE Govia brothers —  Nicholas and Raphael — were at it again as Queen’s Park edged Fatima 7-6 in an exhilarating men’s open fixture as the Colfire Chinese Invitational Indoor Hockey Tournament continued on Thursday night at the Chinese Association, St Ann’s. Both Nicholas and Raphael netted three goals apiece for the Parkites while Nicholas Da Costa got the other. Veteran Dean Nieves slammed a hat-trick for Fatima with Alan Young adding two and Derek Lee one. In the women’s Under-21 division, Paragon showed no mercy on Ventures, as they romped to a 6-1 victory, courtesy of a hat-trick from Kristin Thompson, with one apiece from Alanna Lewis, Jelain Sealey and Kima Gardner. Jade Piper got the consolation goal for Ventures.
