Thanks to Self Help Commission

THE EDITOR: I would like to publicly commend the Chairman and Staff of the National Commission For Self Help Limited who assisted our community in having electricity in our homes today. In this modern age and times, having lived with kerosene lamps as our form of light for the last 16 years, it was indeed a joy to experience electricity filtering through my home from July 23, 2004.

My family and I, along with our community, would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to the Commission and its hardworking staff for having touched our lives. We hope the organisation will continue to bring joy to other depressed communities throughout our blessed nation so they may grow from strength to strength.
