Police investigate suicide in Toco

TOCO Police are investigating the apparent mystery suicide of a Valencia man. According to reports, Earl Wright, 44, of Valencia Farm Road, Valencia, visited his cousin at Monte Cabanete Trace in Toco around 10.30 am on Saturday. Wright’s cousin, who lives alone, went out and returned around 5.30 pm to find Wright dead. Toco police and the DMO visited the scene. The body was removed to the Forensic Science Centre for an autopsy today. When Newsday spoke to relatives, they said the unemployed man was not known to be depressed or suffering from any disease and were shocked to learn he seemed to have committed suicide. Cpl Wight of the Toco Police Station is investigating.
