Upsetters go under in Savannah windball
Dollar Touch defeated Upsetters by six wickets in the latest round of matches in the Savannah Windball cricket series at the Aranguez Savannah last week. Dollar Touch made 78 for four in reply to Upsetters 77 all out. Leading the victory charge was former North Zone player Barry Nicholas with 19 not out. The most convincing win of the round was achieved by Flames who hammered Maloney by ten wickets.
Maloney batted first and scored 83 for six and Flames, powered by 51 from Hospedales Singh, reached 88 without loss. The clash between Paradigm and Samba Boys was full of runs with the former taking a seven-wicket victory. Samba Boys batted first and made 125 for three with Dave Baboolal getting 54 and Imitiaz Ali 18 not out. Paradigm then raced to victory at 128 for three with Fareed Hosein getting 41 not out and Isa Jumadeen scoring 43.
