White Oak whip XS by 103 runs

Fine off-spin bowling by Rodney Sooklal resigned the XS team to a 103-run victory in the only match of the Angostura sponsored series that brought a result yesterday at the National Cricket Centre (NCC), Balmain Couva. Chasing the White Oak team’s score of 201 in 50 overs, XS were put in a spin by Sooklal who finished four wickets for 21runs  in their modest score of 98 all out. Gregory Mahabir with 27 and Daren Ganga who got 21 were the only batsmen to make an impression as there was a regular procession of batsmen to and from the wicket.
