Cops probe rape at gym

Officers of the Couva Police Station are investigating a report of rape at a gym. The 17-year-old victim reported to police that around 11 am on Tuesday, she requested a massage at the Couva gym. According to reports, the girl fell asleep and later awoke to find a man having sex with her. She raised an alarm and made a report to the Couva Police Station. The victim was examined by District Medical Officer Dr Teelucksingh, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect.
