People of Caledonia accept Jesus
THE EDITOR: Thank you for allowing me a space in your column, to express the joy I felt from the work that was done by our guest Ambassador Stitchie on Sunday September 26, 2004. It was a crusade geared to bringing peace and salvation to the community of Caledonia. The evening took on an intense significant atmosphere as crowds of people gathered to watch the ambassador and his band perform. Most of us would have heard the saying where two or more are gathered in His name Christ is among them.
And indeed he was, as revelations and testimonies from a former drug abuser who is now a teacher and other members were given. The people of Caledonia came out in large numbers accepting Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. Men, women and children all danced and sang. They even cried for various reasons as Stitchie sang his religious hit Fast and Pray. His testimony he related to the crowd. He explained why some of our sons have some of the characteristics of a woman, why more female teachers are in school instead of male teachers and why there are more girls students in class rooms than boys. All because of the absenteeism of men, not taking their places in society.
Stitchie called on all persons involved in illegal acts to stop and turn to Christ for He has the answer, he is the only way out, he is the truth and that no one is exempt from Christ’s love. Souls were touched and lives saved as dozens of people went forward to give their lives to Christ. Many thanks to you brother Stitchie, please come again. Many areas await your next visit and thank you Pastor Agard keep up the good work.
