Fair play in Play Whe questionable
THE EDITOR: (1) The loading of the balls for Play Whe, Pick 2, Cash Pot and Lotto is no longer shown to TV viewers of these draws.
(2) How does the public know that all the balls have been loaded?
(3) Since air is used to effect these draws, it is reasonable to ask if all the balls are the same weight?
These questions come to mind because when one considers that No 31 “Parson Wife” which is the third most frequently drawn ball since the commencement of Play Whe 181 times and up to the last time this number was drawn it averaged one draw in every 33.4 draws. Now, up to September 24, 2004 this number 31 has not been drawn once in the past 247 draws. How does this look? This Play Whe which replaced the illegal game of Whe Whe and has been made accessible to everyone, virtually at their doorstep, is depriving poor people and their children of the money they need for food and other essential needs.
