Police lock down K.O. quarter-final
POLICE advanced to the quarter-final stage of the National Super League knockout competition after a 3-0 whipping of Carib at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo on Saturday. The match was replayed after bad light forced the cancellation of their October 17 encoun-ter. Jason Boodram got the lawmen’s first item in the 19th while Richard De Coteau doubled the advantage in the 25th. Curt Danclair’s 80th minute strike proved to be the icing on the cake for Police, who will now face Club Sando in the second match of tomorrow’s double-header at Mucurapo. Superstar Rangers will square off against Angostura 1976 FC Phoenix in the first match from 5 pm.
