San Juan cruise into Inter-Col semi-finals

San Juan maintained their unbeaten streak this season against Barataria yesterday when the RBTT Inter-Col football competition kicked off yesterday. Playing at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar, San Juan beat Barataria 3-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the knockout tournament. San Juan went ahead on an own goal in the 15th minute and a double by Michael Brown in the 35th and 61st minutes put them firmly on top. John Belgrave pulled one back for Barataria in the 88th. In the other match, Hillview defeated St George’s on penalty kicks 4-3 after the scores were tied 2-2 in regulation time and extra time.
