Dimension, Joe Public in women’s f/ball final
REAL DIMENSION will face Premier Division champs Joe Public in the final of the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Football Association (TTWFA) FA Cup competition on Saturday at the Doc’s Sporting Complex, Frederick Settlement, Caroni. In a semifinal doubleheader at the Caroni venue last weekend, Dimension hammered UWI 11-0 while Joe Public cruised past Vandykes 5-1. National midfielder Tasha St Louis helped herself to five goals for Dimension, while former Trinidad and Tobago defender Nisa Goodridge and Racine Romany notched two apiece. Racine Clarke and substitute Andrea Charles chipped in with one each for the Belmont-based outfit. Vandykes earned a shock lead courtesy ex-TT midfielder Desiree Sarjeant before Joe Public responded with two goals each, from national striker Jinelle James and midfielder Aveann Douglas, while another TT player Leslie Ann James scoring once.
