Hats off to Ms Sue Wing

THE EDITOR: Permit me some space to thank Ms Sue Wing for confirming what was always told to me by my father (now deceased) regarding the National Anthem of Trinidad and Tobago and the rightful composer of same. My father would have known, since he was a very close friend and associate of Dr Vernon Evans up until his death, and likewise we were always in his (Mr Evans) company. Anyone else with any other information is definitely not accurate. I, like Ms Sue Wing smiled when I read the letter penned by the late Pat Castange’s daughter and other articles which followed. So hats off to you Jean for enlightening the Trinidad public on the truth.
