Republic Bank top HCL Cricket League

Republic Bank’s representative hardball cricket team took top honours in the recently concluded Home Construction Limited Trinity Cricket League competition. Captained by Vijai Ragoonanan from the Risk Management Department, the team proved outstanding over the ten teams competing in the league. At the recent prize-giving function, which was held at the HCL Organisational Development Centre, the bank’s talented cricketers were presented with numerous awards. This is the first year that the team has won the February to June tournament. Cricketers deserving of special mention are Dindial Baldeo (vice-captain) who won “Best Bowler;”  Peter Corbie who earned the “Most Improved Player” award and Robin Kalloo who garnered the “Most Runs.” Republic Bank have sent their heartiest congratulations to their successful team.
