Transparency for PNMites

THE EDITOR: There are topics which this government likes to boast about — accountability and transparency and the delivery of social services. Well the problem with these is that when combined there is an inequitable distribution of social services due to lack of accountability and transparency. It is important that the social policy of our nation outlines what it is designed to accomplish, how much it will cost and the individuals who will stand to benefit from the programme, thereby outlining the eligibility criteria. As it is there are many programmes going on right now which are only being made known to PNM party members and therefore not every citizen across the board who may be eligible to enjoy the benefits would be able to do so.
