What about working poor?
THE EDITOR: Please give me a chance to address this note to our prime minister. Mr Manning my name is Glenda Bain and I belong to a class of people called the working poor. I am a single mother with three children and my mother to take care of. I work for eight dollars an hour, which is never enough to pay bills, take care of my family and travel to work. Apparently you do not know that people like me exist.
I say this because you did not make any provisions for the working poor in your $28 billion budget. But unlike you and your ministers, the UNC understands the hardships people like me suffer and they have plans to make life better for us. Mr Manning the majority of your supporters are people like myself and if you continue to ignore us then you will lose your support. So you better shape up or we will ship you out come election 2007.
