Three failures of PNM in Tobago

THE EDITOR: Put PNM back in Tobago. Here are three of my (many) reasons why I am undecided. 1) Over the past four years there has been no real improvement in water supply to many districts such as Plymouth, Patience Hill, Mt Pelier and many others. Can you imagine that these dear neighbours live in distress for water to this date. Only now a couple still-to-be commissioned booster stations are being worked on at Signal Hill, Calder Hall and maybe some other area(s). Everything for us seems to be more difficult than for the Americans to put men in space.

2) This administration will leave office having failed to make any real progress in the development of a sewerage disposal system for the south-western region of Tobago an item under study for over 15years now.

3) What were they planning over the past four years that they are now lamenting that they may not have enough rooms for the impending boom in tourism; will not have enough water too, nor gas stations for the visitors to full up their rented cars. Clearly a lacking of vision and initiative. Can we find some real performers to lead and manage Tobago’s affairs?
