WHO: Lyndon Guiseppi

POSITION: Managing Director of RBTT Merchant Bank Limited. He replaces Mark Singh.

PREVIOUS JOB: General Manager, Corporate banking.

WHO PRESSED THE BUTTON: Mr Jerome Sooklal   RBTT Group Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of RBTT Merchant Bank Limited.

A LEADER: Sooklal indicated that Guiseppi is ideally suited to lead the Merchant Bank in providing innovative solutions to its customers throughout the region and, at the same time, build the reputation of the Bank as a reliable provider of high-quality structured instruments to the regional investment community.

CLIMBING THE LADDER: Guiseppi  joined RBTT in 1998 and has since held senior management positions in Corporate Banking, International Banking, Merchant Bank, and most recently served as Deputy Managing Director of RBTT Bank Limited. 

QUALIFICATIONS: He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of the West Indies and recently served as the Deputy Chairman on the Finance Sub-Committee for Vision 2020. 

A MAN AROUND: Guiseppi has had several financial papers published, including a paper on project financing, published in the Euromoney Year Book. He has also served on several government-appointed committees.

SUPPORT TEAM: Mr Suresh Sookoo, Group Chief Operating Officer, retains the position of Managing Director of RBTT Bank in Trinidad and Tobago. He is supported by a strong and capable Senior Management Team: David Hackett, Director, Corporate and Personal and Commercial Banking; Hadyn Gittens, General Manager, Corporate Banking; Calvin Bijou, General Manager, Sales, Product and Customer Management; Robert De Silva, General Manager, Personal and Commercial Banking; Jugdat Bodho, General Manager, Risk Management; Richard Downie, General Manager, Operations and Business Improvement; and a very capable cadre of branch managers.
