HCL Strikers cop CL Financial crown

Home Construction Limited Strikers emerged winners of the Kock-Out Final in the CL Financial Football League which concluded recently at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo. The HCL boys beat Angostura with a golden goal after the match ended goalless in regulation time. However, it was pretty interesting up to that time with many opportunities on both sides to score but none actually getting into the net until the end of the game. By virtue of their victory HCL captured the challenge trophy from Angostura, the defending champions who won last year’s Knock-out Final.

The purpose of the League is to form camaraderie among CL Financial member companies, and this certainly has been accomplished according to Caroline Gomez, business development officer, CL Financial limited based at St Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain. Among the attractions on the day of the final was Primera Oil and Gas Ltd, (league winners) who came out in full force with rhythm section in tow, to show their support for the finalists.
