Unfair treatment
THE EDITOR: Kindly permit me a space in your newspaper to express my views and account on something that is very disturbing. First of all, I must say that I think the ASJA board should show some respect to their workers and treat them as they should be treated. Secondly, workers from most of the schools throughout Trinidad got their back-pay money since October to November 2004 this year. The workers from the schools which are maintained under the ASJA Board did not receive their money. While everyone else got their “back-pay,” these ASJA workers are getting “back pain” instead — working all the time to make a living and they are being treated unfairly.
