Petrotrin probes gas leak

UP TO late yesterday evening, officials of the Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) Department of State-owned Petrotrin were investigating gas emissions which were discovered on Wednesday in an area outside the New Union Industrial Estate in Vessigny It was reported that a homeowner was asked to relocate until the cause of the leak could be ascertained. Offi-cials from the EMA and the Ministry of Energy also visited the area to conduct their own investigation.
