UNC sends condolences to Bostic family

THE Opposition United National Congress (UNC) yesterday extended condolences to the bereaved family of soca star Onika Bostic who died on Sunday at Port-of-Spain General Hospital — a week after being involved in an accident. In a media release the UNC also extended sympathy to all artistes of the soca fraternity on what the party described as the “sad and tragic passing”  of one of the country’s young soca icons. “We join with the people of Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and friends internationally in mourning her loss. The emotional grief the family and friends of Bostic are feeling, is repeated by countless families who have lost loved ones through tragic road accidents,” the release stated.
