Moosai’s play in Chaguanas

MOOSAI’S Sports Club will start their preparation for the 2005 cricket season in earnest today with a practice match against Presentation College in Chaguanas. The match will get underway at 10 am and the Tunapuna players are asked to assemble at Moosai’s Hardware from 8 am.

Yesterday Moosai’s new coach Claude Phillip said he is optimistic of the team’s chances in the upcoming season. Phillips, a former national cricketer said he is counting heavily on his assistant Kapil Rampersad and the cadre of young and enthusiastic players to gain promotion to the First Division next year.
