PNM, you make me shame

THE EDITOR: Allow me a small space in your widely read Newsday to discuss our PM’s “foot in mouth” disease that in the past has annoyed many in our country. Daily I see mangled wrecks of cars in accidents killing our citizens, reports of rape, murders, kidnappings, robberies and endless flood victims adding to the misery of so many in the South. Our PM at the PNM convention recently can find nothing else to say but how he “wishes to have a local Archbishop” for our country. If ever there was an inept administration as this present one I am yet to see one.

Imagine an aircraft coming (or going) to UK with passengers had to overnight in Tobago on Sunday because NP has run out of aviation fuel. We are not serious about tourism, never was, and inspite of so many utterances in the past to improve the situation we run out of aviation fuel in the sister isle, the tourist destination of so many. Please, PNM, strive to improve for the year 2050, as I see no way for 2020.
