‘Satan’ chopped about body

ANTHONY RICHARDSON, also known as “Satan,” is warded at hospital after being chopped about his body by a fellow villager, police said yesterday. Richardson, 30, of Salick Trace, Guapo, is being treated at the San Fernando General Hospital (SFGH) for chop wounds to his hand, shoulder, ears and hand.

Reports said that the wounding incident occurred early yesterday morning near Richardson’s house during a dispute with another man, whom the victim knew. According to police, around 3.45 am  Richardson was having a conversation with the other man when they began to argue. The other man then pulled out a cutlass and fired chops about his body then ran away from the scene, police said. A bleeding Richardson then contacted the Point Fortin police and an Emergency Health Services ambulance rushed the victim to the Point Fortin Area Hospital.
