Chaguanas businessman murdered

WHILE police were trying to come to terms with three murders recorded in two days for the year, a fourth took place. This time it was the murder of Chaguanas businessman Rondell Bowen. According to still sketchy reports around 5 pm Bowen, 26, was sitting in a room at Shakeer Plaza, Main Road, Montrose with other businessmen when a man walked in and demanded to know the driver of a certain car that was parked outside. Bowen identified himself and the man pulled out a firearm and shot him in the head at point blank range. Bowen fell to the ground dead, while three men were seen running off. Police at press time were still at the scene.
