CoP charges SRP with drunken driving

A Special Reserve Policeman/teacher will appear before an Arima magistrate tomorrow charged with drunken driving. The charge was laid by Commissioner of Police Trevor Paul. According to information, around 11.45 on Friday night CoP Paul was travelling south along the Orange Grove Road, Arouca when he observed a car in front of him swaying from side to side. He pulled aside and motioned the vehicle to stop. The man 53, was taken to the Arouca Police Station where he was charged with drunken driving.
