Stock up on morality
THE EDITOR: Because of the recent Tsumani which resulted in so much disaster, the entire world is living in fear. For how long, I pause to wonder. These people, all of us, have now realised what could happen to us. Not Laventille and the people who live on hills, all of us who live on the sea and low lying areas. In reality, we can do nothing to prevent or turn it back out to sea.
So that after the news people stop giving us footage of the relief effort life goes back to normal as our fears are forgotten. Stocking up with food would not help. We have to stock up on living and doing good so that when we meet our maker we would qualify for help, otherwise the other fellow downstairs would be waiting to throw us in more water but the hot type of water instead. The moral of the letter is to prepare.
