Time for new generation UNC

THE EDITOR: Trinidad and Tobago is facing leadership crises which could be more devastating than the tsunami. The present Government is on a path of destruction with its squandermania of the public purse. The leaderships of the PNM are clueless as to how to properly govern or they simply don’t care. The leadership of the UNC is just sitting and allowing things to happen.

The population is fed-up of the PNM, but the UNC as constituted is not a viable alternative. The UNC must restructure itself and make drastic leadership changes, in order to provide the population with an alternative. My recommendations, as follows: Political leader — are Winston Dookeran, three deputy leaders — Gerald Yetming, Carlos John and Carolyn Seepersad Bachan. To Mr Panday you have done well, please allow the UNC to move forward and make way for the new generation, a new thinking, a new UNC.
