Prevention or cure

THE EDITOR: Every voice is hushed, it’s time to listen to the voice of God. “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139: 14.We, men and women are the distinguished masterpiece of his created works. Have we ever pondered on this magnificent fact: the many feats our bodies can perform are beyond human ken. God ordained laws by which this wonderful machinery should function. In fact, he states emphatically that our bodies are his dwelling place and if we defile it, we automatically destroy ourselves. 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20.

Know ye not that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have of God, we are not our own. Therefore, God stressed that we should flee fornication. He continued: “Fornicators and adulterers He will judge. Persistent defiling of God’s temple leads to disease and death. Romans 1: 27: “Men with men and women with women will receive the recompense of their reward or error. Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding. A wound and dishonour will he get, his reproach shall not be wiped away. Proverbs 6: 32-33. Too long have presumed upon God’s grace and taken his word for granted but God says whatever we sow, we reap. Galatians 6:7. When mankind set up his own principles devoid of God’s lawscript concerning the function of his masterpiece. The consequence is disastrous. The wages of sin is death.

No human devising or formulae can counteract the results of our heedless disobedience to the laws of our God. Marriage is honourable and the bed undefiled. God’s voice is thundering loud through calamities by sea and land, and even incurable diseases. He is calling on our nation to repent of our sins, turn from our wicked ways and he will heal our land. Let us repent now for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. This is the message for this second. This is the greatest panacea and prevention of all ills including AIDS. “That there was such a heart in us that we would fear the Lord and keep his commandments always, that it might be well with us and our children forever.” Deuteronomy 5: 29.
