Groovy and Soca Monarch finalists

CARIBBEAN Prestige Foundation for the Performing Arts yesterday announced the finalists for the Groovy Monarch and International Soca Monarch Competitions. The Groovy Monarch finalists are: Mini Priest, H2OPhlo, Michelle Sylvester, Nesta Boxhill, Keisha Stewart, Jamesy P, Blackie, Johnny King, Blazer and Lil Bits.

Finalists for International Soca Monarch are: Bunji Garlin (Defending Monarch), Iwer George, Denise Belfon, Shurwayne Winchester, Knycky Cordner, Faye-Ann Lyons, Baby Killer (Grenada), Timmy (Barbados), Blaxx, Derrick Seales, Soca Elvis, D Hit Man (Neshan Prabhoo), Terry Seales, Sean Caruth, Benjai, Starr and Patrice Roberts. The finals of these competitions take place on “Fantastic Friday” February 4 at the Queen’s Park Oval.
