Woman kills grande man

SANGRE Grande fisherman Farouk Ali yesterday became this nation’s 18th murder victim. According to police reports, Ali, 39, was at his Bois Bande Village, Sangre Grande home around 1 pm when he got in an argument with an angry female relative. The woman allegedly pulled an unlicensed firearm hidden in a drawer and shot Ali eight times. The father of four  died on the spot. Police have since put out an All-Points-Bulletin for a 38-year-old woman from the district. DMO Dr Maharaj ordered the body removed to the Forensic Science Centre for autopsy tomorrow.
