Four suspects in murder of maxi taxi driver detained

Four suspects in the murder of Tunapuna maxi-taxi driver Ronald Lewis were detained during an exercise carried out Saturday. Lewis, 27, was stabbed to death by an intruder as he made his way into his Fairley Street, Tunapuna home on December 19 last year. A party of officers led by Sgt Lezama, and including Cpl Broomes and PC Peterson detained the four suspects and took them to the Tunapuna Police Station. The Director of Public Prosecutions Geoffrey Henderson will be consulted on the matter today.
