Arouca teen still critical

AROUCA teen Natalie Celestine who was shot in her mouth in Arouca during Monday morning Jouvert celebrations is still in critical condition up to presstime. Celestine, 19, was shot during an argument with a man. Three others persons who were  shot the same time as the teenager, have since been treated and discharged.


In an unrelated matter the 36-year-old Lopinot man who was burned when he fatally set Lotto-cashier Radha Ramsaran alight on Sunday night is still in critical condition at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital under police guard. Police sources confirmed that once they received the forensic report today and the man was discharged, charges of murder would be brought against him. Detective Corporal Winston is continuing enquiries.
