Man, two sons in court for murder

A PRINCES TOWN man and his two sons are expected to appear before a magistrate today charged with the murder of painter Clifton Alleyne, who was killed two weeks ago. The three — ages 59, 38 and 25 — were arrested over the weekend after police carried out investigations into the stabbing death of Alleyne.

Alleyne, 48, of Mahogany Trace, St Croix Road, Princes Town was stabbed around 8.15 pm when a village feud erupted into a fight on the Moruga Road. According to a police report, Alleyne and two other men alighted from a maxi taxi on the Moruga Road and confronted three men in a house. A fight ensued, the report stated and Alleyne was fatally stabbed.
