Who’s really ruling TT

THE EDITOR: Presently it is most difficult to figure out who is running our Trinidad and Tobago. The PNM with nice guy Mr Manning, the religious Prime Minister, who is calling on God to do his job, while he gives our money to the Caribbean islands, whose dollar is wroth TT$2.30, our natural gas to Jamaica, while more and more of our nation sinks below the poverty line due to lack of job creation for young people graduating from schools and university, being the major problem responsible for our crime industry?

Or is it the Prime Minister of St Vincent who got $120 million from us to bail out LIAT while Government threatens BWIA and is now leading a Trinidad and Tobago team to the USA for the promotion of Trinidad as the capital of the Free Trade Area of the Americas, and seems to spend more time in Trinidad with out government than his own in St Vincent? Or the drug lords who are laundering their money by buying all the lands and properties they can get at extravagant prices and creating an inflation that makes it impossible for the average person to buy a home?

Or the Jamaat who do anything and everything they fell to, and get away with it? Or are Castro and Chavez influencing the thinking of our Prime Minister? Or is it the Government’s ministers who did not face the polls and are in charge of the key ministries, and even act as Prime Minister in the absence of Mr Manning? Or is it now, last but not least, going to be China who have suddenly arrived bearing gifts to Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean?
