Keep an eye on Getdjobdone

GETDJOBDONE did his job well in a sparkling gallop over 1000 metres, as the American-bred colt gets in shape for Day 11 of the Arima Race Club season at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, on April 16. The Jack Debideen-trained speedster, winner of both his races to date, flashed across the park in a swift one minute 01.72 seconds on Sunday morning. This two-year-old son of Louis Quatorze/In Or Out, is making a return after a two-month lay-off for corrective surgery for a breathing problem.

Another to show some zip was Royal Dame who had a handy gallop over the same distance in one minute 04.83 seconds. Seattle Sue, back from racing in Barbados, was timed in a handy one minute 06.16 seconds for her run over the 1000 metres trip. Border Dispute shaped wall in his gallop over 800 metres in a handy 50.59 seconds, while Crackshot pleased in the identical time galloping with an un-named two-year-old. Unraced Integrate continued to please with a 600 metres run together with Up Above clocked in 36.74 seconds.

And Hatrick stepped over 600 metres in 39.81 seconds, but Final Set went even better being timed in 39.27 for a similar gallop. Yesterday morning, Cuatro Tempo, a full brother to Royal Oak Derby winner Mucho Tempo, and a  late scratch on Saturday last, had a handy spin together with Priceless Fame timed in one minute 19.31. But apart from this, the handful of horses seen out were sent out to do pace work.
