Digicel launches WI cricket video

TELECOMMUNICATIONS giants Digicel, the official sponsor of West Indies cricket, has launched their Bigger Better Cricket Music Video throughout the region last week. The video includes performances by Jamaican dancehall artiste Spragga Benz and Barbadian soca singer Allison Hinds and also features current captain Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Mervyn Dillon, Chris Gayle, Wavell Hinds, Pedro Collins and Corey Collymore. Sarah Gill, Digicel Group Commercial Director, noted: “we are enormously proud to launch the first ever West Indies cricket music video and the Bigger Better Cricket song.

“We have had fantastic feedback so far from our customers, cricket fans and the cricket players themselves to this fun, energetic song and vibrant video which really celebrates and epitomises the passion for West Indies cricket,” Gill added. The Irish-based firm, who have injected US$20 million as part of a five-year deal, is focused on providing the necessary resources to help propel West Indies cricket back on top the global map.
