What about Bon Air Gardens?

THE EDITOR: I commend the recent Government initiative in Maloney Gardens ie the construction of mall-like facilities. These facilities are to be rented out to persons in the area desirous of pursuing business ventures. This initiative should assist in reducing unemployment, enhancing entrepreneurial spirit in residents and thus reducing crime in the community. But what about other housing estates like Bon Air Gardens?

Over the years we have seen the establishment of sporting facilities, health centres, a library and community centres in housing developments such as Maloney and La Horquetta. Yet Bon Air seems to be ignored. Doesn’t this community have a parliamentary representative? It is due time that the Government pay some attention and establish some of these facilities in this community.
