A word of advice Mr Panday

TH EDITOR: I was astounded to hear Mr Basdeo Panday at the UNC meeting talk about that once someone decides to go independent then that is indiscipline. I have some words for Mr Panday: Firstly, Mr Panday is the leader of the UNC which comprised of 30,000 members and dwindling. Secondly, the two MP’s disagreed with a viewpoint from Mr Basdeo Panday that politics has a morality of its own and therefore professional integrity should come first. You are dealing with an educated population that believes in professional integrity.

Maybe you should pick up a dictionary and find the meaning of the word. Thirdly, you are not preaching to persons that have sticks to fight in the middle ages and it’s amazing that MP’s that claim that there are persons of integrity sit idly by while you make such disparaging remarks. Finally and the most important point is the UNC under your leadership will be always in opposition with probably ten  MPs or less by the year 2008. A word of advice Mr Panday, maybe you and your wife should take a long vacation to Never land.
