Tobago in women zonal cricket

A TOBAGO XI will oppose South/Central today in the first match of a round-robin zonal series, organised by the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Board. Three games are scheduled for the Couva Recreation Ground, Southern Main Road, Couva. Tomorrow, the lasses from the sister isle will meet North/East while, on May 1, the North/East women will square off against South/Central. Following the series, a national squad will be selected to begin training for the annual regional tournament, scheduled for July 16-31 in Jamaica. All games will bowl off at 10 am and will comprise 50-over-per-side innings.
