Jabloteh hammer Tobago Utd 7-0
MIDFIELDERS Otis Seaton (Aurtis Whitley) and Josh Johnson netted two goals apiece as CL Financial San Juan Jablo-teh hammered Tobago United 7-0 in the seventh round of the T&T Pro League yesterday. The fans that turned out at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima saw Seaton open the scoring courtesy of a second-minute penalty. And the enigmatic player doubled the lead in the 15th minute before striker Kerry Noray made it 3-0 on the half-hour mark. National midfielder Kerry Baptiste widened the gap to 4-0 in the 47th and winger Johnson got his name on the scoresheet in the 79th.
Defender Nigel Daniel got Jabloteh’s sixth in the 87th and Johnson completed the rout in stoppage time. At the Palo Seco Recreation Ground, North East Stars registered a narrow 2-1 victory over United Petrotrin. Kayode McKinnon put the reigning champs ahead in the ninth minute before Curte Fermin equalised for Petrotrin in the 21st via the penalty spot. But captain Anthony Wolfe got the winner for North East five minutes later. Up to press time, Caledonia AIA/Fire were locked in battle with Defence Force at the Manny Ramjohn Sta-dium, Marabella.
