Long shot Brown Technic lands the odds

In the West Indies-bred race for three-year-olds over 1750 metres, hot favourite Prince Charming disappointed badly finishing a well-beaten second to Crown Point. And Sure Ting survived an objection to keep the Stakes & Lower Handicap feature, beating favourite Outswinger into second. Venezuelan rider Wilmer Galviz was the top jockey of the day, landing two winners both for trainer Glenn Mendez, who led his peers.
