Wrong decision!
THE EDITOR: West Indies lost the One-Day series versus South Africa before the first ball was actually bowled. Captain Shiv won the toss and chose to bat in the first game. What a foolish decision! Inzaman Ul Haq made a similar faux pas in the ICC trophy tournament and WI made him pay dearly. We have heard little or nothing from Messrs Holding, Cozier and Richards about Shiv’s gross error. If Brian Charles Lara was captain . . . well let’s not go there. But "God doh sleep." Chanders, for the records, West Indies could chase runs . . . that’s our strength in limited overs.
