FCB hosts Schools Scrabble tourney
OVER 200 students from both primary and secondary schools throughout the country are expected to compete in the First Citizens Bank (FCB) tenth annual National Schools Scrabble tournament tomorrow at the Andre Kamperveen Hall, Centre of Excellence, Macoya Road, Tunapuna. Henry Saunders, Curriculum Officer (Science) of the Ministry of Education will deliver the feature address prior to the start of the competition. He will also officially open the tournament at 9 am. Results and prize distribution will be carried out at 4 pm. Persons interested in this tournament are asked to contact Yvienne Lawrence at 624-3178 (Ext 4453).
