There lies a problem

THE EDITOR: As a school child I read in my school book, the cow jump over the moon and the dish run away with the spoon. The Bible says what is hidden from the wise and prudent shall be revealed to the babes and sucklings. In this era of the net and global communication beautiful school buildings are being built. Yet the nexus between the buildings and the students is not so beautiful. We must not reinforce 50 years of teaching wrong ideas to poor people. They did not mobilise the ghetto with any issue. The late Dr Eric Williams spent an oil boom. We continue to see the dumping of the treasury in the ghetto that is the major reason of the barbarity called gang killing. Give the community leaders money they never worked for by the hundred million and they must end up killing one another to get a bigger share of the wealth.
