What next for King of Pop?


THE EDITOR: Michael Jackson is a free man today, having been found not guilty on all counts of child sexual molestation. Mixed reactions would have met and welcomed the news all over the world. A very controversial trial, today the pop star is free to walk as he pleases!


But whether these allegations were legitimate or not, the jury has come up with a verdict. Michael Jackson’s fans all over the world must be happy for the superstar, his critics must be saying something else now, aren’t they? Michael Jackson’s career has intrigued audiences worldwide, from the inception of the Jackson Five kids to the present time. He was born to be a star, whatever the critics have to say now is irrelevant.


Freed from all counts of child molestation, what will now become of the alleged victims? Will they counter sue or call for civil action? Michael Jackson appeared to be cool and calm throughout the proceedings, the trial. The "King of Pop" what is next for him? He has thrilled audiences throughout the world and as a youth visited Trinidad in the 1970s.


Well, I won’t say it’s a sad day for the pop star, but only Michael Jackson will ever live to tell the tale of his colourful life/(?) Flamboyant!


The citizens of the world may not know the entire circumstances, but today he is free. Whatever your take on Michael Jackson, he has sure been overwhelming on and off stage, no doubt about that.


Wherever he goes he will always be a superstar. Good luck in the future to you Michael Jackson.
