Connection face stern test

RUNAWAY LEADERS W Connection will face a stern test from 6 pm when they face off against CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima. Both teams met once this year, with Connection edging Jabloteh 2-1 in the opening round of the league in April, while Jabloteh won the other matchup 1-0 in the Pro Bowl final last month. And the duo were victorious in their last outings on Wednesday, with Jabloteh mauling Defence Force 7-0 while Connection whipped United Petrotrin 3-0.

With runners-up Caledonia AIA/Fire on a bye, Jabloteh can secure second spot with a win against the “Savonetta Boys”. Defence Force will be looking to rebound from their battering by Jabloteh when they meet the struggling Petrotrin at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella at 4 pm. And, at 6.30 pm, North East Stars will be eyeing maximum points when they travel to the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet to oppose Tobago United.
