Sad memories for Sandra Marchack
THE EDITOR: It is a strange way life keeps playing the ball. It reaches even the prime minister’s office in its own blood stained way. Sandra Marchack had a sad note to play when she visited the home of the recent murder victim. It was a chilling reminder, I am sure, of her brother’s brutal murder near Royal Bank some years ago in Arima. I know Jeffrey, he was a good friend of mine and his untimely death was a shock to me. It was a senseless stupid killing. I did not know the two victims of this murder, but I was hurt to read of their senseless slaughters as they slept in the relative safety of their bedroom. It was the epitome of savage cold blooded lust, just as in the case of Jeffrey who was killed in broad daylight as he went to the Royal Bank to make a deposit. I am sure that his sister, Sandra, must have been revisited by the savage killing of her brother as she offered her sympathy to the mother of one of the deceased. It is certain that the police will try their best to discover the culprits in this case. But it is certain also that they have put Jeffrey’s case to rest as an unsolved murder that took place in a busy spot in Arima, before people who must have seen the whole thing. It is now years since he was murdered in cold blood in the heart of Arima. I sincerely hope this one does not meet the same fate for this surely would encourage others to murder. E FORTUNE
